Toasters and sandwich makers come in a wide range of innovative designs and price points. It is vital to choose the appliance that caters to your needs and budget. This buying guide is designed to help you choose the toaster and sandwich maker that fits the bill perfectly.

Who Is This Buying Guide For?

The guide is ideal for:

  • Buyers who are looking for an ideal solution for breakfast and snacking
  • Buyers who are replacing conventional cooking methods
  • Buyers who want to save time and effort

How Does It Work?

Toasters and Sandwich makers both have metal coils in them, which produce infrared radiation to heat a slice of bread. The radiation dries up and burns the surface of the bread, which in turn makes a toast. These appliances come with different heat settings so that you can customize the browning of your bread according to your preference.

 k2.jpg
Types of Toasters
  • Pop-Up Toasters

In pop-up toasters, the bread has to be inserted vertically and the coils surround both the sides. The spring-loaded tray pops the toast out at a particular set time or when roasted. Pop-up toasters come in more styles and innovations than other toasters.

Types of Sandwich Makers
  • Panini Press

A Panini Press sandwich maker is used to prepare a variety of sandwiches. The functionalities of a Panini Press are of a grill but it can be a replacement for a toaster and griddle too. It features plates on the top and bottom, which when closed, heat the food. You can prepare your favorite burger patty, pancakes, kebabs etc. easily with the Panini Press.

  • Four-triangle Sandwich Maker

A four-triangle sandwich maker is common in most households. It consists of four square plates that are triangular shaped from the interior. It features the closedown handle that is excellent for making grilled cheese sandwiches and other snacks.

Features of a Toaster
  • Spring Loaded Tray

Since such a tray pops the toaster out, you do not have to turn the toaster upside down.

  • Automatic Timer

It turns off the toaster and releases the tray so that the toast pops up. This enables you to carry out your other chores while the bread is being toasted.

  • Browning Level Setting

This feature allows you to choose whether you want your bread lightly toasted or heavily toasted. It enables you to choose the preferred level from these extremes, making the browning of your bread precise.

  • Removable Crumb Tray

This feature ensures that it is easy to clean the tray by removing it.

  • Cord Placement

The cord needs to be long enough to reach the socket in case you need to keep the toaster away from the socket.

  • Even Toast

The Even Toast technology optimizes the distribution of internal heat, which ensures that the bread is uniformly toasted.

  • Defrost Function

This feature allows you to defrost and toast frozen bread to meet your needs.

 Maintenance

Note the following points to maintain your Sandwich and Toast maker:

  • Buy cleansing sprays for electrical appliances to wipe off any grime and dirt on the toasters and sandwich makers.
  • Look out for a sandwich maker with interchangeable plates that are easy to clean.
  • Cleaning can be done on a regular basis depending on the usage.
  • Before cleaning the toaster or sandwich maker, unplug it from the power source. Start your cleaning only after it cools down.
Conclusion

This equipment is a kitchen essential and one should choose the right product depending upon the frequency of use and the number of members in the family. Choose the features and the price range accordingly and make your breakfast tasty, healthy and enjoyable. Tips to Take Proper Care of Your Iron Box?

It a famous quote goes, “A person’s first impression is his last impression.”

Usually people are judged, the way they wear and treat their clothes. Hence, wearing Ironed clothes could make that ‘good-impression’ last forever.

But, one must realize that all these tactics are dependent on a small electronic device called the Iron box. Iron box, is one such appliance that comes handy throughout the year, not only at the laundry, but also at your homes.

People often fail to realize that electrical appliances also need timely maintenance which can help extend its shelf life, thus avoiding the need to constantly replace the machines. We, at Kraft offer some guidelines to help elongate the usage of the Iron Box, by keeping it problem free, by using simple methods:

  1. Always remember to unplug the iron, when not in use and allow it to cool down before performing any activity.
  2. Clean the steam iron ports as materials from your clothes could clog it. For cleaning purposes, use a thin piece of wire (say – straightened paper clip), and poke the wires in the holes.
  3. Usage of Vinegar to Clean the Inside of the Iron. In the iron tank, fill half distilled white vinegar and half water. Now, use the spray and let the contents steam out. Repeat, if necessary.
  4. Use distilled water to sprinkle on the clothes, before ironing them.
  5. Clean the Soleplate with a cloth dipped in vinegar.
  6. Lastly wipe off your iron carefully once you have cleaned it. Then, remove all the water to prevent any build up. Store it in an upright position.

We hope these quick steps shall help you keep your iron box safe and long-lasting.
